Community Immunisation Clinic - Upper Mount Gravatt
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.

First 5 Forever children's storytime
Experience the magic of storytime with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories, songs and mark making activities for young children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
First 5 Forever babies, books and rhymes
Meet other parents and babies for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn songs and action rhymes to nurture your baby's pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies aged up to one year. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
Children’s storytime (Arabic)
Experience the magic of storytime in Arabic with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years.
Make and create: Easter
Drop in and enjoy a free Easter themed craft. Ideal for children aged 4-8 years.
Learn to play chess
Are you keen to learn something new and play chess with your family and friends? Learn the basic rules and how to play a game. Ideal for those aged 5-12 years.

Are you keen to learn something new or perhaps brush up on your childhood memory of playing chess a while ago? You will learn basic rules and how to play a game. Ideal for those aged 13 years and older.
English conversation group
This friendly and informal group meets at the library weekly. Come along to make new friends and improve your English. Learners of all ages are welcome.
Brisbane Mahjong
We are a growing community of Mahjong enthusiasts who meet every Tuesday at 6pm till late at Garden City Library. We welcome players from all backgrounds and experiences who would love to come socialise and have fun with different people every week. We provide tutorials for new players as well. The Mahjong styles we play are Hong Kong, Japanese and Basic Casual
First 5 Forever toddler time

For those who can play chess and are looking for some competition. This tournament will be run by Gardiner Chess organisation. Ideal for those aged 5 years and older.

After reading the story, children will continue to explore the science, technology, engineering and math concepts introduced with hands-on activities. Ideal for children aged 3-5 years.
