About This Event
Noah Bates is a 21-year-old indie-pop artist from Brisbane/Meanjin, crafting a vibrant blend of 1980s arena sounds and modern alternative pop/rock. Drawing inspiration from legends like Tears for Fears, The 1975, Harry Styles, Sam Fender, and The Strokes, Noah channels these influences into his own self-produced music, creating a fresh yet nostalgic sound.
In August 2023, he burst onto the scene with his debut single, "Coffee In Japan," which racked up 57,000 streams on Spotify and gained international airplay. Following up with "Gotta Go" in 2024, he continued to build momentum, leading up to his highly anticipated next release, "Lying Eyes," set for May 2025.
A graduate of the renowned Music Industry College, which has nurtured talents like Thelma Plum and Hanni, Noah also earned a coveted spot at the Sarabah songwriting camp. In 2025, he took his music to the stage with a sold-out live band show, marking an exciting new chapter in his career.
With a growing fan base and an unmistakable sound, Noah Bates is proving to be a rising force in the indie-pop/rock scene.
