First 5 Forever children’s storytime
Experience the magic of storytime with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories, songs and mark making activities for young children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Bands in Parks: Twilight Jazz by the River
Bands in Parks performs at Queensland Maritime Museum Park. Kick back and watch the sunset over the Brisbane River from this beautiful vantage point near the Goodwill Bridge. Before the city warms up to Friday evening, take some time to enjoy big band jazz after work at the Maritime Museum with music by Brass Roots Live. Please note – entry is alongside the Maritime Museum Ferry terminal, via Dock Street. The main Museum entry is closed on Friday Nights. There is no BYO food or drinks at this venue. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Music styles with Meryn and Frank
These school holiday, join Meryn and Frank for an acoustic concert as they perform a colourful collection of songs to introduce a range of music styles. Following the music, Meryn will share her books in a special storytime. Ideal for children 3-8 years.

All Ages Youth Week Gig!
Come along and celebrate the diversity of Brisbane's Youth music scene at this free all ages event at Season Three Space in the valley!

Bands in Parks: On the High Seas
Bands in Parks performs at Brisbane City Hall. Sunnybank Brass presents a spectacular concert celebrating nautical themes and paying tribute to the anniversary of the Titanic disaster. Featuring the stunning voice of vocalist Izabella Cihajic, this performance will evoke the grandeur and tragedy of the high seas, blending powerful brass arrangements with poignant vocal solos. Experience the drama and beauty of iconic maritime music, from rousing sea shanties to emotional ballads. Make it an afternoon out – invite family and friends for an afternoon at City Hall. There will be afternoon tea and scones available for purchase, as well as wine and cheese packs. Food and drink can be pre-ordered by calling 0439 716 389.

The QUBE Effect Live
See the 12 finalists perform live as part of The QUBE Effect 2025. Finalists have been busy developing their skills and working with industry professionals. This is your chance to see them perform live during April at The Triffid. Full line-up announcements for each performance during April to be announced soon. These are all ages events, people under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - Peace and Remembrance: A Journey of the ANZACS
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts present 'Peace and Remembrance', A Journey of the ANZACS through song by ChoirWorks In April 2025 for the 110th anniversary of ANZAC day, ChoirWorks will present a choral program of peace and remembrance, allowing the audience to commemorate and reflect on all that has been and still is being sacrificed for our freedom. For centuries, composers have considered human conflict in many different ways, using music to comment on the reverberating effects of war on our world, and to explore the possibilities of understanding and healing. One of One International Women's Day Breakfast
One of One is delighted to invite you to celebrate ten years of empowerment! In 2025, One of One will once again host their annual breakfast event for women, non-binary and GNC people working in Brisbane's music industry. This year's breakfast will bring together the Australian music industry's leading professionals, and connect them with a group of future leaders including artists, managers, agents, promoters, policy makers, CEOs, general managers, industry organisations, publishers, labels and many distinguished guests. Taking place at The Triffid in Newstead, the event will feature heartfelt keynote presentations, musical performances, special announcements, and networking opportunities throughout the morning. Gathering - Jessie
Gathering presents Jessie. Jessie has been singing from a very young age, alongside her mother and father in church. Singing inspirational and uplifting covers and some originals with a blend of Gospel, RnB, 90s, ballads and soulful acoustic tunes. Jessie hopes you hear the words of the songs and that you are inspired too. Be sure to join us for Jessies' set at the Queen Street Mall main stage from 12 noon to 1pm. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.

The festival kicks off on Thursday 17 April from 4-8pm with a relaxing afternoon by the water. Enjoy a range of food trucks, live music and cool drinks. Then on Friday 18 April the festival is in full swing from 9.30am-8pm. Moora Park, Shorncliffe is jam packed with entertainment through the day with live bands, kids workshops, rides, food and markets all culminating into a beach party and fireworks in the evening. The festival is held on the scenic foreshore at Shorncliffe in conjunction with the annual Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race (Friday). This event is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council. Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents From Bach to Blockbusters. Sydney’s Daniel Justin presents an organ concert featuring music from JS Bach to the famous Thieving Magpie Overture by Rossini, as well as music from the movie How To Train Your Dragon and Interstellar, and famous Jazz standards such as Tiger Rag and A Handful of Keys. Gathering presents Siah Mabo. A proud First Nations and Torres Strait Islander, Siah's heritage deeply influences his musical journey, infusing his work with rich cultural narratives. Old Lore presents Ancient Echoes: Old Lore & Young Bloods emerging artist Siah Mabo. Catch his performance from 12 noon-1pm at the Queen Street Mall main stage. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Songs & Soiree
Experience the beauty and power of music at the Songs & Soiree concert. This exceptional event features three talented voices: Sopranos Luisa Tarnawski and Gabrielle Jack, in partnership with former Ten Tenor Roger Davy. You'll be taken on an unforgettable musical journey from beloved opera classics to popular musical hits, from Phantom of the Opera to Cosi fan Tutte. Bands in Parks: Anzac Swing
Bands in Parks performs at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. Take a look at the Freedom Wall memorial and head down to the bandstand lawn for an Anzac tribute concert. Grab your picnic rug and basket, and join BSB Swing as they journey back through the swing era with classic jazz from Armstrong to the Andrew Sisters.

Bands in Parks: Saturday Night at the Movies
Bands in Parks performs at Queensland Tennis Centre. The South East Queensland Symphonic Winds invites you to take a trip with them through the history of cinema. You'll hear themes from classics like the Wizard of Oz, songs from big shows from West Side Story to Les Mis, Disney favourites The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas, and the sweeping score from epics like Titanic and Out of Africa! This is a night for the whole family to enjoy. The café and bar will be open so enjoy your music with a glass of wine and a meal. Please note there is no BYO to this event.
