First 5 Forever toddler time
Meet other parents and toddlers for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies and toddlers aged 1-2 years. The First 5 Forever initiative is funded by the Queensland Government.

Music beat kids groups
Come and enjoy the great outdoors with your little ones while you move and make music together. You will share a special time with other parents, while helping your little ones learn and grow through musical play and movement. Take home tips for how to keep grooving and creating musical moments at home provided.

Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Gathering - John Corowa
Gathering presents John Corowa. John Corowa has a warm soulful style and enjoys the likes of Paul Kelly, Crowded House, Aussie Rock, Motown Rock ballads and easy listening. John has released a EP titled 'One Breath' featuring his daughter Georgia Corowa. Join his live performance on the main stage of Queen Street Mall from 12 noon - 1pm. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.

Tuesdays to Thursdays 3.30-4pm, excluding school holidays. Drop in to Wynnum Library to spark your child’s imagination through learning by making. Participate in hands-on activities that explore science, technology, reading and art. Ideal for children aged 5-12 years.
