Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. Twilight walk - Karawatha Rocks Track
Join Brisbane City Council's Environment Centres staff on a twilight walk through Karawatha Forest. Experience the natural wonders of this beautiful bushland reserve and enjoy views of the forest at dusk. The 2.5km Rocks Track has some climbs and steps, moderate fitness required. This activity will continue in light rain. Requirements: For safety reasons, moderate fitness is required. Please wear secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, and light-weight long pants and long sleeves are recommended. Please bring a small hand-held torch (no headlamps), insect repellent, drinking water, snack, and a raincoat if required. Please do not leave early unless it is an emergency. Note: activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

'Asia Pacific Triennial Kids: Outdoors' guided walking tour
Join us for a family-friendly walking tour of Asia Pacific Triennial Kids: Outdoors. This exhibition highlights the work of Asia Pacific Triennial Kids artists via lightboxes, banners and projections throughout Brisbane city. As you explore the city’s streets and laneways your guide will share stories about selected artworks, featuring imaginary creatures and worlds, bright colours, and patterns. At the end of the tour, you can keep exploring with an exhibition map and sticker sheet. This project is a collaboration between Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA). Wild edibles walk
Go wild and discover edible Australian native plants at Boondall Wetlands reserve. Join environment centre staff on a short guided tour along the Tulla-yugaipa dhagun track (place of useful plants) showcasing some of the wild edible plants used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and colonial peoples, as well as some other surprising uses. Please note collecting plants is not permitted in this protected conservation reserve. After the walk, join a short tasting session where you can try some foods prepared using native plants and find out more about some of the ‘bush food’ native plants suitable for backyards and balconies in Brisbane. Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the environment centre. Wear sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Bring water and a snack as there are no food outlets on site. Note: This event will go ahead in light rain and can be adapted for indoors if required. Garden diplomacy - Special walk - Brisbane Botanic Gardens
Did you know that plants have shaped much of our world and have been catalysts for revolutions, international intrigue, and law changes? Join this fascinating guided walk and uncover how plants are connected to banana republics, the Boston tea party, food of the gods, codification of alcohol, and more! This guided walk will be led by the volunteer guides of Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Requirements: This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for guide explanations but no sitting. Wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
