About This Event
Find out why poo is a clue! We don't always see animals but we often find evidence of them. Build your wildlife detective skills on this fun and engaging walk all about tracks, scats, and habitats! Explore the nature reserve on a guided walk with environment centre staff, learn some bush observation skills, identify some local native animals and plants, and discover simple actions we can take to help protect the forest.
After the activity, visit the environment centre and explore the beautiful natural surroundings of forest reserve.
Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes before starting time to check in with staff at the environment centre. All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Wear sun-safe clothing, sunscreen, fully enclosed shoes, and bring insect repellent. Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
