Meet other parents and toddlers for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies and toddlers aged 1-2 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

A combination of cardio, strength and stretching exercises designed to help you increase or maintain your fitness. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Bookings essential. Increase your flexibility, mobility, balance and range of movement. This class will include stretching and activation exercises designed to lengthen and strengthen your body and posture in a relaxed group setting. Specifically targeted to suit active older adults and those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Songs & Soiree
Experience the beauty and power of music at the Songs & Soiree concert. This exceptional event features three talented voices: Sopranos Luisa Tarnawski and Gabrielle Jack, in partnership with former Ten Tenor Roger Davy. You'll be taken on an unforgettable musical journey from beloved opera classics to popular musical hits, from Phantom of the Opera to Cosi fan Tutte. Plus popular songs by Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman and the rollicking song from La Traviata. There is something here for everyone. SunPAC is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Bookings essential. Focus on aerobic fitness, strengthening with light weights, flexibility, coordination and balance followed by relaxation with gentle exercises. The session is performed either seated on a chair or standing while holding onto a chair for stability and support. No floor work. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Zumba Gold®
Bookings essential. Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. Learn easy-to-follow choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Community Immunisation Clinic - Sunnybank Hills
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.
